National Youth Development Alliance at a Glance

A Distinct Identity

National Youth Development Alliance knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. Back in 2013, our Non-Profit Organization realized that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch the National Youth Development Alliance.

Our Inspiring Mission

Our mission is to help those in need become self-sufficient members of their communities and societies. The mission focal point is targeted towards internally displaced people (IDP), inner-city youths, girls and women in particular, and homeless children. Our aim will be focused on providing an alternative transitional destination for basic healthcare needs, education, and self-sufficient entrepreneurial skillset training to enable a better life for those in our global communities.

Our Vision

NYDA envisions a society where our youth is empowered by the development of leadership and literacy skills to enable empowerment and aspire them into making important career, and lifestyle decisions necessary for successful & productive participation in a 21st-century economy. With the right attitude, and a bit of support our dreams can and will be realized. We believe that our work is truly making a difference for people in the communities we serve especially, in sub-Saharan Africa and in our global communities. We hope that one day, everyone will share our passion and vision for change. You're invited to join us in our mission to improve the lives of those that are most in need of our help

Youth Health Clinic

One Child at a Time

Accessing basic healthcare needs is by no means an easy feat for the youth of today. Youth in emerging nations of the world are faced with dire healthcare issues particularly, in sub-Saharan Africa, with no life-sustaining resources, it is even more difficult for them to access the basic healthcare needed for surviving. National Youth Development Alliance, is dedicated to providing common-sense solutions to the communities we serve in, by providing accessible Health Clinics. We do this through cooperation with our partners, local governments, and community empowerment, which we believe can facilitate sustainable progress in this area.
NYDA is embarking on a Youth Clinic Center project initiative, to assist the communities we serve. Our organization will rely heavily on the generosity and involvement of partner institutions, organizations, local area governments, and of course, people like you. We welcome all ideas for youth health solutions, and all contributions will be directed towards making our basic healthcare project a success. We strive to make a difference and invite you to learn more and lend your support. Please contact us for more details on our Youth Clinic Center project initiative, and help us achieve a sustainable health foundation for the communities we serve.

IDP/Urban Homeless Outreach

Helping The Community

Focusing On The Girl Child

Our gender-based "Girl Child Outreach Initiative," is focused on alleviating the ramifications of homelessness in urban centers, and the hopelessness of living in squalor conditions in refugee camps as IDPs.

Entrenched gender bias in many regions of the world, is the leading cause why young girls fare less well than boys in many aspects of growth. Each year, millions of children across the African continent become victims of exploitation, abuse, and violence. They're often abducted from their homes and schools and are forcibly recruited into armed conflicts, exploited sexually, or trafficked and forced to work in abominable conditions. Girls, in particular, are more vulnerable, especially when not in school. These girls also suffer from abuses that may have their society’s mandate, but severely curtail their rights. They are victims of violence at home, they aren’t allowed to attend school, or are forced into early child marriage, or to undergo genital mutilation. or are sold into servitude effectively eliminating all avenues of growth for them. Often, girls are prevented from attending school because of unhygienic latrines or a complete lack of facilities for girls. S simple lack of girls' hygienic products for menstrual conditions is enough to undermine a girl's education ambitions.

However, when provided access to the right resources, like in a girl-friendly school environment, youths can become empowered by their abilities and gain the confidence needed to reclaim their lives and fulfill their dreams of reaching their potential in life.

NYDA is committed to advocating for meaningful progressive education policy agendas that foster an all-inclusive child-friendly education environment regardless of gender, abilities, religion and or traditions. Learn more about our work by getting in touch.

Education & Life Skills Empowerment

What We Do

It's believed that with education, we can eradicate extreme poverty, and that is our motivation for a No Child Left Behind education agenda. With education, it becomes possible for the youth to make an informed decision that will foster progress and empowerment. Education, as declared by the United Nations SDG act, is a human rights issue. Therefore, all children regardless of their gender, race, religion, abilities, and or cultural identifications are entitled to free and equal access to education. NYDA will advocate for Girls friendly an all-inclusive education policy agendas in a child-friendly school environment, an initiative that fosters a holistic child well-being approach to a universal free and equal education rights for all children.
